A major theme of the Center's outreach is that it smploys story and narrative. While this is evident in everything from our collaborations with variety shows to our development of game-based demonstrations, it is most central to our work with The Story Collider. 

Over the past four years, the CCE has hosted the Story Collider five times. Four of these programs were contributed to the Atlanta Science Festival, and one was presented in partnership with our sister CCI, CAICE, at the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering. 

These programs aren't meant to communicate research. Instead, they are designed to show the personal impact of science on people from all walks of life. Five CCE scientists have told their stories so far,; three are available below:
