Only AbGradCon offers a diverse and supportive environment solely focused on research conducted and presented by grad students and post-docs working in the fields of astrobiology and the origins of life. This year's AbGradCon was held on McGill University's campus which is located in the heart of Montreal. As always, attendees presented on cutting-edge, out of this world science being conducted internationally. I was happy to represent the CCE in Montreal where I discussed recently published work on self-assembling DNA-like structures and a philosophical paradox in my presentation entitled Spontaneous assembly of both nucleobase analogs and the Ship of Theseus.
