CCE Scientist, Moran Frenkle-Pinter presents on Chemical Evolution as a feature speaker for NASA's PCE3 series. Moran Frenkel-Pinter started her academic career as a Bachelor of Science student at Tel Aviv University, majoring in Biotechnology (2006-2009, graduated summa cum laude). Following graduation, she joined the selective direct PhD track for excellent students in Biology at Tel Aviv University (graduated summa cum laude), during which she was also awarded an M.Sc. in Biotechnology. Her thesis was done under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Segal and Prof. Ehud Gazit, and focused on studying the role of alterations in protein glycosylation in Alzheimer's disease. Among many prizes, Moran was also awarded the national Eshkol PhD fellowship and the NASA postdoctoral program fellowship.
